VOICEMAIL & CONTENT SUBMISSION TERMS

These Voicemail & Content Submission Terms (“Submission Terms”) govern your submission of voicemails, recordings, written responses, photographs, videos, stories, opinions, questions, statements, and other materials (“Submissions”) to The Wax Strip Effect (“TWSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By submitting content to TWSA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Submission Terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not submit content to TWSA.
1. ABOUT TWSA SUBMISSIONS
The Wax Strip Effect may invite members of the public to participate by submitting:
Submissions may be reviewed for potential use in TWSA's media, entertainment, community, and promotional activities.
Submitting content does not guarantee that TWSA will publish, use, respond to, or acknowledge your Submission.
2. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SUBMISSION
You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:
You created the Submission or have the necessary rights and permissions to provide it.
You have the authority to grant the permissions described in these Submission Terms.
Your Submission does not knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Your Submission does not knowingly contain false information presented as fact for the purpose of harming another person.
Your Submission does not contain unlawful material.
Your Submission does not contain malicious software or other harmful material.
You have obtained any permissions required from other individuals who appear or are identifiable in your Submission.
Your Submission complies with applicable laws.
3. DO NOT SUBMIT CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, financial, medical, legal, account-security, password, or other highly sensitive information unless TWSA specifically requests it and you understand the applicable risks.
You should also avoid providing:
Once submitted, content may be reviewed by TWSA and its authorized service providers.
4. YOUR PERMISSION TO REVIEW YOUR SUBMISSION
By submitting content, you give TWSA permission to receive, store, review, organize, evaluate, and consider your Submission for possible use in TWSA activities.
TWSA may determine whether a Submission is appropriate for publication or other use.
Submitting content does not create an obligation for TWSA to use it.
5. POTENTIAL USE OF SUBMISSIONS
Subject to any separate written agreement or consent that applies to your Submission, TWSA may use eligible Submissions in connection with its media, entertainment, community, marketing, and promotional activities.
Potential uses may include:
Your Submission may be edited, shortened, formatted, combined with other material, or otherwise adapted for production purposes.
6. VOICE RECORDINGS
If you submit a voicemail or voice recording, you understand that your voice may be recognizable if TWSA uses the recording publicly.
Depending on the applicable consent or release associated with the Submission, your recording may be heard by members of the public through TWSA content.
Do not submit a voice recording if you do not want your voice potentially used in TWSA media.
7. NAMES AND IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
If you voluntarily provide your name, username, nickname, photograph, voice, or other identifying information with a Submission, that information may be associated with the Submission when used, subject to any applicable consent or release.
You should not provide identifying information you do not want potentially associated with your Submission.
TWSA may choose to anonymize or remove identifying information when appropriate, but anonymization is not guaranteed unless TWSA has expressly agreed to it.
8. EDITING
TWSA may edit Submissions for legitimate production purposes, including:
Length
Clarity
Audio quality
Video quality
Pacing
Formatting
Organization
Context
Technical requirements
Editing may include removing portions of a Submission.
TWSA will not be required to publish a Submission exactly as originally submitted.
9. NO GUARANTEE OF PUBLICATION
Submitting content does not guarantee:
Publication
Air time
A response
Compensation
A particular publication date
A particular platform
A particular audience size
Continued availability after publication
TWSA has complete discretion, subject to applicable agreements and law, regarding whether and where a Submission is used.
10. COMPENSATION
Unless TWSA expressly agrees otherwise in writing, Submissions are voluntary and unpaid.
Submitting a voicemail, story, answer, recording, or other content does not create an expectation of payment, royalties, residuals, ownership interest, or other compensation.
If a particular submission opportunity offers compensation, separate terms will apply.
11. OWNERSHIP AND LICENSE
You retain ownership of intellectual-property rights you independently own in your original Submission, subject to any separate agreement you enter into with TWSA.
By submitting content, you grant TWSA the permissions expressly provided through the applicable submission process, consent, or release.
Where a submission form or separate release specifically grants TWSA broader rights, that document will control the scope of those rights.
Nothing in these Submission Terms is intended to grant TWSA rights beyond those applicable permissions.
12. THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL
You may not submit material belonging to another person or organization unless you have the necessary permission or legal right to do so.
For example, do not submit:
Copyrighted recordings you do not own
Private recordings of other people without appropriate permission
Photographs you do not have permission to use
Confidential company materials
Private documents belonging to another person
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate permissions before submitting third-party material.
13. PRIVACY
Information contained in your Submission may constitute personal information.
TWSA's collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Please review the Privacy Policy before submitting content.
14. CONTENT STANDARDS
TWSA may refuse, remove, restrict, or decline to publish Submissions that we determine are inappropriate for our platform or audience.
This may include content that:
Contains unlawful material
Contains credible threats
Promotes violence or illegal activity
Contains malicious or harmful material
Infringes another person's rights
Contains unauthorized private information
Is fraudulent or deceptive
Attempts to manipulate or abuse the submission system
Violates applicable law
Otherwise conflicts with TWSA's content standards
TWSA is not required to publish every Submission it receives.
15. PERSONAL OPINIONS AND STATEMENTS
Submissions may contain personal opinions, allegations, experiences, or statements.
TWSA does not automatically endorse the statements contained in a Submission.
The person submitting the content remains responsible for their own statements.
TWSA may exercise editorial judgment regarding whether and how a Submission is presented.
16. NO DEFAMATION OR UNLAWFUL ACCUSATIONS
You should not use TWSA's submission system to make knowingly false statements about another person or organization with the intent to cause harm.
If your Submission concerns another identifiable person, consider whether you have a legitimate basis and legal right to provide the information.
TWSA may decline to publish content that creates legal or safety concerns.
17. REMOVAL REQUESTS
Submitting content does not automatically create a right to have published material removed.
Once a Submission has been incorporated into published content, copies may exist on third-party platforms, websites, social-media services, or other locations outside TWSA's direct control.
If you have a concern about content associated with you, contact TWSA and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant Submission or publication.
TWSA will evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis and subject to applicable law and any applicable consent or release.
18. NO GUARANTEE OF ANONYMITY
Unless TWSA expressly agrees otherwise in writing, do not assume that a Submission is anonymous.
Even when a name is not displayed, a person's voice, story, circumstances, or other information may make them identifiable.
If anonymity is important to you, do not submit content until you have confirmed the applicable anonymity terms with TWSA.
19. MINORS
If you are under the age of 18, do not submit content to TWSA unless you have the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.
TWSA may request additional consent documentation before accepting or using a minor's Submission.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for understanding the content and permissions associated with a minor's participation.
20. NO CONFIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIP
Submitting content to TWSA does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, therapist-client, financial-adviser, or other professional relationship.
TWSA is a media and entertainment platform.
Submitting a personal story or experience does not make TWSA your counselor, therapist, attorney, financial adviser, or other professional adviser.
21. SAFETY AND EMERGENCIES
TWSA's voicemail and submission systems are not emergency services.
Do not rely on TWSA submissions, voicemail systems, email, social-media accounts, or other TWSA communication channels for emergency assistance.
If you are experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or professional service available to you.
22. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
TWSA may use third-party services to collect, store, process, host, transmit, or manage Submissions.
These may include website providers, form providers, telecommunications services, cloud-storage providers, hosting companies, analytics providers, and other technology providers.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
TWSA may update these Submission Terms from time to time.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
The version applicable to a Submission may depend on the terms presented to you when the Submission was made and any separate consent or release you accepted.
